Newly released Kimi K3 is close to Fable 5 and GPT 5.6 in performance. After weights are publicly released around July 27, this will be the largest open-weights model ever at 2.8T total parameters.
Inkling is the first model from Thinking Machines, the AI lab founded by Mira Murati after leaving OpenAI. Coding benchmarks are underwhelming, but it’s the largest open weight model that supports audio input.
Fable 5 will continue to be available on Claude Max (5x and 20x) subscriptions.
Claude Code 50% higher weekly limits promotion will continue until August 19th.
